| This is my version of the scalper pattern.The buttcap is wagon wheel wrought iron with a peened through tang. The rawhide sheath features a rawhide braid around the flap and a few "field repair" stiches near the tip.

| This piece was a custom order, and features a few things that were specifically requested by the customer, such as the wide blade, which is almost 3/8" thick, and the inuit style animal head carving on the pommel, which is made from wrought iron with a deep etched copper finish.

| There are a lot of details packed into a small knife here such as a forged blade, sculpted bolsters and handle butt,a blacksmith''s curl,and fluting on the bolsters. The sheath has a quilled band and a couple of bear claws, one front and back.
